The Invocation was a collection of sounds created from the pain and dreams of a restless youth. Being not afraid to speak of the reality of death, thoughts of suicide, the pain of losing those you love and the mental high of having someone near. We are alone. We choke on the blood of martyrs and spit out the ashes of our ancestors. We sweat with passion and bleed out the emotional cries for clarity. We are the neglected children clouded with confusion. We spill out our hearts with the intoxication of our sadness. We invoke our madness and join hands in a devilish mantra. Tomorrow we evolve into birds and we fly.

We were a 5 piece band from Knoxville, Tennessee. Formed together coming from all directions like bands such as Fairweather, Minute 61, The American Plague, Forever and Counting, Cities of Refuge, and My Lost Cause. We were known for our stage show for we let out all of our darkest secrets on stage. A sound that is new and expressed in a way that you will not forget the first time you see us play, we strive to leave you with the impression of four sad little boys and one pissed off girl. That's what we were.
